Help Email App not enabling - greyed out!

Hi guys, i have a S3 international running Jelly Bean, non rooted. I disabled afew apps i was not using, only ones i knew about and didnt mess with anything else. I have now gone to re-enable my Email app and although is appears in the Disabled section right at the bottom with the rest, when i open it, all the settings are greyed out and not pressable. It still states i can disable it but of course the option is greyed out, but it is not running either. The app size says something like 16kb. I have tried reinstalling by running the apk file within System\app but it does not install. Please please please help. I have also enabled Exchange Services and that loads up and runs.
