Help email app says I have one new email

Even though I don't have a new email. The icon show a new email. How do I reset?

The Default one that has the black @ over a yellow circle in an envelope.

Hm. I haven't used that in years and would tend to recommend K9. That being said...I wonder whether clearing the cache on the app might help. You may want to wait to see what other editors have to offer though. Clearing the cache shouldn't hurt anything though.

I'd seriously consider migrating to K9 mail. In my opinion it delivers a far superior experience to every other smartphone email app. If you want it to just work... get K9.

Aquamail, K9, Outlook are all good alternatives to the stock email app.

Go to the bottom of phone, to clear apps. That should clear the problem with you having 1 email notification.
