What is the best email app to use? I tried using the stock app that came with my Samsung S2 - totally sucks!

K9 and Maildroid are the most recommended ones.

Personally I find the stock Samsung email app fine for my needs.

Sorry - I didn't explain myself correctly.

Basically I want to have unread notifications on the widgets for both email and text msgs. From my understanding the actual Gmail app does not allow that thanks to some stupid rule from Google. So I am basically trying to find an app(s) that show unreads like this below - the unread red count,

It looks like that guy is using Go Launcher. If you have Go Launcher and the GO Launcher Notifications running, you get those red bubbles for SMS, Missed calls, K9mail, Stock Samsung Mail/Android Mail, Facebook, etc.

Ahhhh ok - maybe I should switch to Go Launcher. Currently am using ADW.

ADW has notification extensions as well. Not sure how that works though.

I think I solved the issue - I changed from ADW to GO and works great using K9 mail. Thanks for the help!
