Email App

[GFCH]

Hi All

I know there are plenty of email Apps out there and I've tried a lot.

I need an email app that downloads and saves the emails on my Tablet.

All the ones I've tried download and display them alright but as soon as I go home and check my email from my desktop they disappear from my tablet.

I need them to stay on my tablet, like my Blackberry did, like my wife's iPhone does.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

G

You've just got a settings mix-up. It also appears as if you have a pop3 mailbox and if you want your mail to be visible on both your tablet and pc you need an imap account.

Back to your present set-up. Check your pc email client, it'll have the 'delete messages on server when downloaded' box ticked. Un-tick this and your mail should stay on the server - though that "might" have a time-limit to retain emails once read.

K9 Mail has two different settings. One will delete email from server when checked or leave it on when unchecked.

It also has one to delete from phone when removed from server when checked. Unchecked this to leave the email on the phone when removed from server.
