Is looking for a app like k9 who can open *.zip files.
Also need at least to be possible to set polling down to every minute, but realy want poll down to 15-30sec like email notifier.
The notification have to be able to custimized. It could actually be a email notifier if it can read mail and open the zip file attatchments.

K9 work good, but can't open zip, in gmail you can open zip, but it's unreliable notification on it and no possibility to get better poll frequency.
email notifier is great with down to 15 sec poll frequency, but notification sound get cut of to early and not possibility to read mail.

The more often you poll email the faster you'll drain the battery. Polling every 15-30 seconds would hit the battery hard.

Rather than polling so much Gmail will push mail to you and notify you on arrival. You get notification of new mail usually in less than 30 seconds of arrival in your inbox. This works with the standard Gmail app.
