My normal email address is ...@embarqmail.com
In order to receive any emails on my new LG Stylo G, I had to open a Gmail account. I now receive all of my embarqmail emails OK, but I now need to know how to establish or transfer my present email addresses to my new phone so I can send new emails.

Just add it in. Open Gmail, add new account, and add your email.

Incoming mail uses either IMAP or POP3, outgoing mail uses SMTP. Since you're receiving emails that part is OK so it sounds like you need to manually re-do the SMTP settings in whichever mail client app you're using on your phone. See below:
