I've noticed that my new ATT Samsung Galaxy S3 is deleting my read email. It doesn't do it immediately (not even if I turn my phone off and on) but sometime within hours the read email disappears. I've contacted ATT and they directed me to my email service provider (this is NOT a gmail account which may be the problem). My internet service provider insists that once the email is downloaded to my phone, they can not delete it so they suggested that I contact Samsung. The tech support there said they couldn't help since it wasn't a gmail account but offered at factory reset as an option.
Has anyone here used a NON gmail account without their "read" email getting automatically deleted? At this point my email is safer if I go back and check it as "UNread" after reading it or even deleting it would keep it safely in the Trash folder!
Anyone with suggestions?
