Email Filters?

[lucksp]

I just switched from a blackberry to the RazrHD...it's a world of difference!!

On verizon with my BB, i was able to setup a filter to prevent certain work emails from being sent to my mobile device and i really need to get this setup. The stock email app does not seem to do this.

Do you guys have any recommendations on how or what to accomplish this?

THANKS!

Which app are you using, the Gmail one, our the other one? Also, I don't think either one that comes with a phone will set up filters client side, though Gmail has *wonderful* filtering capability that can be set up from the web. For example, you can set up which emails are "important" and which ones aren't, and the Gmail app allows you to notify for "important" emails only.

I'm also somewhat interested in this. Both my wife and I use yahoo, but I always use my phone to check email.

this is for the pre-installed email app.

Again, AFAIK, the app doesn't set up filters. It would have to be set up at your domain. If it helps, you can set up Gmail to pull email from other sources, and then use their filters. That might be the best course of action.
