Help email from one account "jumping" to another!

I have an HTC Incredible on Verizon and I get pop email on two accounts - one a hotmail acount and one a comcast account. The phone works flawlessly and I enjoy its features tremendously. On three occasions now, email collected from my hotmail account has just shown up in my phone's comcast account! Its usually OLD email, too. The only way to delete thiose emails is to delete the account and then re-set it. The two email accounts do have similar - but not the same - handles. What might be causing this? Suggestions?

Also having mail from one account appear in another. Cannot delete the mail, nor can I actually access it in the "wrong" account.
