Help Email Getting Mixed up Between Accounts

I have Gmail and Yahoo Email Accounts. Yesterday some of my Yahoo messages showed up in my Gmail account using the Mail app on the home screen. When I choose Gmail, the messages are listed. I cannot select, view, or delete them. The same messages have already been viewed through my Yahoo account. I tried restarting the EVO. I tried refreshing the accounts in the settings. When I open the official Gmail app they are not displayed there. What can I do to correct this?

Question, are you using the stock mail app for both your yahoo and gmail accounts?

Yes, I am able to change which account it shows by tapping the the title bar. Its been working fine for the past two months I've had the EVO.

Might I suggest deleting the gmail account from the stock mail app? Then adding that gmail account to it's native gmail app?

I deleted the Gmail account from the stock Mail app. Then I set up the account again and it was corrected. If it occurs again I'll just use the dedicated apps.

I found if I edit account for mail server type, it resets the inbox and gets rid of the wrong email headers.

1. Goto Settings.
2. Pick a different server type (ie: go from POP to IMAP)
3. It will error out and let you hit continue.
4. Put it back the way it belongs.

This is a lame process, but saves time in deleting it out and resetting it completely.
