Help email help - sync deleted items

Hi! Email is setup via IMAP, receiving and sending fine. I come from BB and loved the feature where if I deleted an email in BB, the email is also deleted on my laptop (as long as I delete the email before I open up Outlook on my laptop). Is there a way to sync the deleted items on the Razr? Folder sync settings are all set to "background" and not manual. I even tested it with emptying the trash, but the email still was in my Outlook. Has anyone got this to work?

found K9 mail app... so far the closest thing for former BB user. Can set up BCC, delete email... only thing that took me a while to figure out is if you are using Outlook, leave a copy on the email on the server. If you don't select this, the moment you open Outlook on your computer, your inbox will be empty on your phone. That's what I found out.

If you delete it on the phone and it gets deleted on your email, it is Outlook's responsibility to delete its copy, not the phone's
