Help Email Icon

Hi,
I've a strange problem, my email Icon on my lock screen is showing I have minus 1 new emails..!!! ( -1 in red circle on icon ) I've opened up my mail and deleted everything yet the minus 1 figure still remains on lock screen icon ( homescreen icon is clear ) any ideas how to clear..Cheers.
p.s just updated the 4.3 fix (unlocked UK) everything seems good so far, have to wait and see regarding battery performance.

Try this, go to Application manager in system settings, then to email, clear cache and data. Reboot and open your email app and enter your email account details again.
