Help email isnt loading on its own

the email is setup to be checked every 10 minutes but it wont load unless i go into the email app and refresh it and then it loads my new emails. it was working fine earlier and most of today it hasnt been working. thoughts on this?

delete the account (which style is it), reboot the phone and set up again ??? unless you have tried this already

Go to settings, accounts and synch and make sure the boxes are ticked to synch. may already be done but worth a look.

ill look into it again, this is the replacment phone i activated saturday morning and the email worked saturday, and into this morning, and then it stopped. ill try the suggestions thanks.

also i noticed that at times ill have a program running, aptoide for example, and ill try to open up my message program to send or read a text and itll boot that up instead over and over until i task kill it. any ideas to that?
