Help Email issues after latest update

So I have the sII and AT&T so I just did the Jelly Bean update a couple of days ago. After some minor adjustments I have nearly everything worked out except the email. No matter what I do I cannot get my phone to auto update when a email comes in. I have checked the settings and it is set to syn every half hour but when you then go look at the account, it says syncing disabled. Previously email would refresh periodically and the little icon would show however many new emails i have. Now it will not do it until I go in and refresh it myself. It's a pain. HELP!!!?!?!?!!?

You may need to do a bit of tech house cleaning. Try these steps:

Go to Settings.
Scroll down to find Applications Manager.
Tap on Email app.
Tap Clear Data button, then Force Close.
Launch Email app from your Home screen.
Enter credentials.
Re-setup Account

Settings
Accounts & Sync
Tap on your account.
Delete Account.
Reboot phone.
Go to Accounts & Sync again, add account.

So you want me to delete the account twice?
Also, I don't have anything reading "Accounts and Sync" anywhere that I can figure out
