Hello fellow Droid X users!
My primary email is a gmail account. Unfortunately, it seems like the stock gmail app updates very infrequently/possibly never. I usually have to manually go into the settings>refresh menu to get my emails to show up. However, if I use the stock email app for my gmail address, the emails are 'pushed' to my phone immediately.
What gives? I like the interface on the gmail app much better, but at this point it seems totally impractical to use it. For those with a gmail adddress that they use, what are you doing? Are you registered for both applications- as a google account and as an email? Is my gmail app uniquely broken, or is this a common issue?
Beyond this small issue, this phone is all kinds of unholy awesome.
