I've had a search and can't find an answer to this. I have (had) six different email set up in the stock email app. I've not been receiving email through it for a couple of days. So I decided to delete all the accounts, clear the email app cache and the social hub cache, and reset them all up. Entering the email address and password either resulted in an error in connection, or a 404 error. This was for every address. Setting them up manually by unticking the push box and entering the IMAP and SMPT settings results in either an error or being told my address or password are wrong, which of course they are not. I eventually reinstated my email addresses using Titanium (restored data in email and social hub apps and restarting phone), but the inboxes won't refresh and no new email is coming through.
On a side note the separate gmail app receives email but doesn't send them.
Any ideas or solutions, it's driving me nuts.
