Help Email not working after changing password.

Hi. I am using a Galaxy A3 2016 - not had it very long. My main email is a hotmail account. It was working fine until a few days ago when I changed my password - I used the phone to do this. It worked fine for the first day but now it will neither send nor receive emails on this account. I tried adding it as a new account but it said that this account already exists. This email account works fine on my pc so it's definitely an issue with the phone. Thanks.

What mail app? Is this with the stock app or a third party app? Have you tried using MailDroid?

Sounds like an authentication issue, ie the app has not updated to your new password. You don't mention the app your using, but you should remove the account and add it once more with the new login details. Providing we are talking about an app and not logging into a webpage.
