Email/Notepad on Android?

Hi,

I have a new S3 being delivered and was hoping someone could offer some advice on apps.

Are there any good apps to send/receive emails (with mutliple accounts) (I use Thunderbird on my main PC) and are there any apps such as notepad where text files can be saved/edited/pasted etc?

Sorry if these are dumb questions!

You may want to try a few until you determine your preference. For notes, you might start with Google Keep, Color Notes, Evernote, Catch notes, and/or Papyrus ex. I personally feel Keep is tops.

Email is even more so a matter of preference - K9 (free) & Aqua Mail ($4.00+) are good choices, but so is gmail if you only have a Gmail address.

You have a good device, which will allow you to download many apps and test them side by side without noticeably hindering performance. Enjoy.

The stock Email and SNotes app on the S3 already does what you need. You can check out other apps only of you find them inadequate, but for most purposes they are more than enough
