Help Email notification sounds missing

I'm new to Galaxy S5 but getting it set up pretty well. However . . . I'm not getting a notification sound when email comes in. I've got to each email account and checked the Email notifications, selected the sound and checked vibrate as well. When I get mail the phones no sound and doesn't vibrate. What am I missing in the setup?

I think you need to go into settings/sound/email and make sure email notifications is check marked on the notification settings as well. give that a shot

That's exactly what I've been doing. It is checked for each account with a sound selected and vibrate checked as well. It neither vibrates or makes any sound.

I had that problem when I selected "Postman" as my e-mail notification. No sound. I changed to another sound and all is working. Be sure you get a preview of the sound when you select it.
