Help Email notification

My gmail will not notify anymore,i have to go in and check it manually,all my settings are set for to notify me,any1 have fix for this?? thx

Are you using the stock mail app or the gmail app? I have 2 email accounts using the stock app and they never notify me even though they are set up to check every hour.

I only use the Gmail app that came with the phone,it used to notify when i had new email,now it doesnt

mine disappeared too, i thought it was just from using sms unread count, but it's not.
