EMail Notificationa

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app
  2. In the top left, tap Menu.

  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Select your account.
  5. Tap Notifications and select a notification level.
  6. Tap Inbox notifications.
  7. Choose your notification settings, including sounds.
 
It would be helpful to know what device you have, which version of Android is it running, and which email app are you using?
 
Android 6.0. Is what I meant was how do I get email notifications of replies from this forum? If someone replies to a topic of mine, how do I get an email notification that someone replied to that topic?

I believe that's only for conversations (PMs).
"Email notifications for new conversations, replies to existing conversations, and being added to an existing conversation."

1. If you want emails for replies to existing threads click the "eye with a line through it" icon to watch the thread:

Then it will ask if you want an email notification. :)

2. When you create a thread - below the text box there is an option to watch the thread with email notifications. :thumbsupdroid:
