Email Notifications Not Arriving via WiFi or Packet Data.

I normally receive my notifications but wondered why sometimes like today they don't appear to be coming in as per normal?

I sent 3 emails from different email accounts and only one notification has been received, the gmail and yahoo emails have not shown up on the status notification bar.

I have these accounts in sync so it can't be that, any ideas?

According to downrightnow - Check the status of web services and report outages there is currently an issue with Google Mail (Gmail) could this have any affect for any or all notifications coming through for Yahoo Mail etc?

Think it was possibly to do with Yahoo mail having issues yesterday, the notifications seem to be arriving now.
