Help email over wifi

So I'm a long time blackberry user who last week made the switch to the SIII.

While I love the apps and speed, I am perplexed by an email issue.

I am unable to send emails via wifi. This is frustrating to me as I only have a 3 gig plan. The Rogers tech support rep said it is because when my device sends an email over the LTE network it sends it via the Rogers smtp servers and when it goes over wifi it goes via my email provider's ( Bell) servers.
The reps advice was to simply turn off wifi.

Is there a work around for this? Will Jelly Bean fix this issue?

This is not a JB or S3 issue. If anything it is a problem with how your account is set up.

Szadzik is correct. It is not an device issue. Often if the account is not set up correctly (Especially if it is an ISP account) this sort of thing can happen.

If you have this account working on a computer (not webmail) then you need to ensure you are using the same settings. If not, you need to research the correct Bell settings. Speak to them if you have to. Its not a Rogers thing, Samsung thing or an Android thing.

Edit> Maybe this will help. There is a link that mentions server settings you should look at:
