Help email problems

Hello, I wonder if someone can help me. A work colleague of mine has the One X and it trying to set up our work emails. The provider is Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. Problem is, his phone will accept his username, password, domain, server address but the phone will not receive emails. Has anyone any ideas what the problem is? If we send an email to his address, his PC picks it up no bother but his phoe wont. Any help would be appreciated, our IT support in work can't even offer a solution.

I have my exchange email working without any issues on HTC One X. Are you sure, it was successfully set-up? Can you provide screenshot of the accounts and sync showing that the exchange activesync is syncing?

Trust me mate, all is set up. I have an HTC Sensation and its set up the sane as mine bar his U/N and P/W. He can send emails from the phone but can't receive.
