Help Email push notification &hotkeys, please help.

Hi,

Two questions that I have been desperately looking for answers to.

How can I setup my hotmail to get instant (push) notifications whenever I get a new email?

I looked through the settings it's either manual refresh or every 5 min. Could someone please guide me through the steps for getting my notifications instantly?

Second question is how to create a short key? For example typing @@ would bring my my email address

Unless Hotmail specifically supports push email, the closest you can get is to configure Gmail to poll your Hotmail account. It "learns" the frequency of received email for each account and so over time polls the more active ones more frequently.

The keyboard 'autofill' function mimics this i.e. once you've entered "myemail@mydomain" typing "mye" should offer it as the default selection.
