Help Email questions

Does anyone using maildroidpro pro know how to delete messages after searching for th? For example, if you want to ID all messages from a given person and then delete them en mass?

For clarity: this question was originally posted in a different thread. Hence the reply below was made without viewing the first post of this thread.

Is it possible to undo delete?
On what?

On Android generally, delete means delete, and that's it. As for email (since that's what this thread is about), it depends on how your email is set up. If you delete it from the server when you move it to the device, and then actually delete it on the device, then it's gone. But with many email setups "delete" means "move to the Trash folder" in the email archive, in which case the message is still there until you empty the trash. So even if your question is about email, there is no single answer as it depends on what your email setup is.

If you have done the search and have your list of results, there is a little "tick box" symbol at the top of the screen. Click on that and you'll get a set of check boxes next to the messages that the search found. You can then select individual messages, or clicking on the tick box at the top of the screen again will select all. You can then delete, move, or select other options from the little 3-dot button.

I'm going to move this to its own thread though, since the question has nothing to do with the topic of the thread it was originally posted in.

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, on my phone this procedure is not working for some reason. After I search, then select the multiple messages, I try deleting them and nothing happens. Any other thoughts?
