Hi. Please try this:
Go to settings in your email app; box/unbox the sound option.
Plus go to general settings of your phone; set the volume of notifications.
My Transformer gives a sound when an email arrives.
However, it often gives the same sound when there is no new email. What do those sounds mean and how can I turn them off without loosing the mail notification?
