Email stopped working on my android 3G

All of a sudden my email from my gmail account stopped working on my cell phone,any clues as to why?

Hi Chef571955, and welcome to Android Forums.

Have you tried resetting your cache? Go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications > Gmail > Clear Cache. Also try clearing your data (thought the same method, just choosing clear data instead of clear cache) if that doesn't work.

Several things could be causing this... However, as mentioned above...clear data from the mail application. This should get things back on track.
