Email stopped working

My phone updated this morning and now I'm getting the error message that my email has stopped working.
I've tried rebooting, force stopping the app and cleaning RAM. Nothing has worked. Anyone have any suggestions???

What email app? Is it exchange email? Updating from what to what? Tried clearing the apps cache in Settings>Apps>"email app">storage>clear cache?
