eMail v4.1: How to customize ReturnAddress?

[PeteCress]

My email provider is XYZ.NET.

My username at XYZ is "Whatever".

The email app wants to make my return addr = Whatever@XYZ.net.

But I want it to be Pete@XYZ.net.

This is on my 10' tablet.

Somehow I managed this on my phone (same app, but v4.0), but can neither recall how nor find anything inSettings.

??

I think I have answered my own question.

Delete the account.

Then, when creating the replacement, supply the desired address in the first field of the first screen: the one that is grey-populated with "account@example.com".

+1 for you posting your own answer. Nothing is worse than using search to find a relevant thread, only to discover that the exact problem has no answer posted.
