email

I have tried several email apps buy none seem to have the option to keep notifying me of an unread email.

If I have an unread email I would like my phone to keep sound and vibrating until I open the email.

Any ideas?

Now that's a different question! Till now, all i saw was a question mark instead of an actual question. It seems like you edited it since.

WhatsApp does not do emails. Disregard my previous comment.

Nine, which I'm currently using as my email app, seems to have a persistent notification option. But that isn't repeating, it's persistent, i.e. plays continuously until you shut it up, so I leave that very firmly off.

Unusually, it's the only email app I currently have installed, so I can't say offhand about others.

Nine by 9folders Inc. - ? I will check that out. It might work. I wonder if there are any others out there?

Yes, that's the app. Used to just be for Exchange/Outlook, but it can handle IMAP email as well now (though it only does email for IMAP accounts, whereas for Exchange/Outlook is also does calendar, contacts, to do, notes as well - but I've plenty of apps that can do Google calendars, so that isn't a problem for me)
