Help Email

I am using the stock email app which I like but the one thing that really bugs me is when I delete emails from my inbox, I then go straight into my deleted folder and delete them from there. Last night I spent a good hour deleting the same 20 emails from my inbox then my deleted folder then my inbox and on and on.

I am using my ntlworld.com email and an imap server.

Is there anyway to stop the deleted emails reappearing in my inbox or deleted folder?

I think with other providers, like Yahoo. There is an option that is something like "When deleted from IMAP, delete from server too.
