Help Emails in worng accounts - can't open or delete!?

Hello,

I have 1 gmail account and 6 pop email accounts on my Desire (I know it's a lot but I really do need them all for work...)

Every so often emails get mixed up by appearing randomly in the wrong inbox. I cannot open or delete the email - All I can do to rectify the issue is delete the entire mailbox, delete the other mailbox the mail should have been in, and re-install both from scratch.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Is there anything I can try to resolve the issue?

Do I really need multiple phones or does anyone know of a 3rd party app that can do what the generic htc pop/imap email app is failing to do properly?

I am having this same issue and was hoping to find and answer.

Have you tried a 3rd party email app? I don't use multiple email accounts on my phone (my main accounts receive far too much mail for me to want to handle on a mobile device), but that's an obvious solution. I used K9 mail for 2 years, though recently switched to the paid derivative kaiten. You should find other recommendations if you search the android applications forum.
