Why does it take so long for emails to get through? Also why do latest emails, even after refreshing, not appear?

Is the email being received but not showing up for a while, or is it not being received for a while?

The first would be a setting on the tablet. (We'd need to know a lot more to narrow that down.)

The second would be some slowdown between the person hitting send on his email program and the time your email server gets the email - and there are dozens of things (all beyond anyone's control) that can cause that.

Remember, email was designed to eventually get there, not to immediately get there. It's normal these days to expect an email to take a minute or less, but many things can cause delays of as much as a few days. (The protocol calls for a normal maximum delivery time of 5 days - after that the sender gets a notice that the email couldn't be delivered. So they weren't thinking in minutes when they designed email.)

But the first thing we need to know to help you is the interval between the time the email was sent and the time it was received (and that's going to be in the headers once you receive it).
