Hi,

I'm thinking of moving from Blackberry to Android.. Samsung SII to be precise. My only concern is emails.. I have about 7-8 various email accounts I need to check and maintain. Has anyone used Android with more than 5 email accounts? Is the performance affected in any way.. speedwise? Searching emails? Attachment wise? How does it perform?

Any feedback would be very helpful..

The number off accounts doesn't seem to effect performance much and the Galaxy sII's have plenty of that. Checking up on an inordinate number of accounts could reduce battery life, but 5 doesn't seem like too many to me. FWIW, I regularly check 8 different accounts with my Evo4g.

Thanks.. what about searching mails? And does it have a universal inbox.. or each account maintains its mails separately? Also.. how good is the onscreen keyboard for extended typing? TIA

Default sgs 2 email app has a unified inbox.

As for comfort of onscreen keyboard, its difficult to really say. People have differently sized hands and dexterity levels. Add to that there are several keyboard apps to choose from to see which ones are more comfortable for you. You can replace they keyboard any time you want with something that you find more comfortable with.
