Root emal

Hey guys my email isn't acting right. I loaded in my username and password and it loads just fine. The problem is that when I search for new mail it either wont find it and if it does then it goes away really quick. This isn't the first time this has done this. It has even done it when my phone was stock. I currently have the bh_mans warheads rom and it was working fine before i went to galaxy and back. I was just wondering if there are any known issues or fixes for this problem.
