You read it right. Whats the purpose of an emergency app if the widget is hidden somewhere? I'd like it to be visible on the phone on the virtual desktop cover. Do let me know if such a thing exists. Take care guys!
Appventive have an ICE app that replaces the lock screen. I've been using it for a couple of years now and would definitely recommend it. It's a paid app but, for me, well worth the price.
