ROMs Emerson EM543

Ok, so I have the factory image file for the EM543, I've been trying to extract it for hours but nothing works. I want to extract it to remove some preinstalled apps and the boot/shutdown animations and replace them with my own, then reflash the whole thing to the tablet. But as I said NOTHING WORKS, every Android .img extractor I've tried has failed. I would try to delete the files from the already functional tablet, but they are locked to read-only, I've tried using the ADB, Total Commander, & ES File Explorer to remove the read-only, but it can't be done even with root. So I'm going to modify the files before flashing.

I'll include a link to the .img file (that iIve zipped to save space) if anyone wants to look at it themselves.

Dud have you tried a system app remover, es does a good job removing them i use it all the time but you need ro enable root, sonetime es file explorer gets errors thats prevents deleting system app files
