EMode Codes.

I am going through the device trying to decipher what the specific emode codes for the ZMAX PRO are. I am trying to get into the emode USB switch menu in hopes that we have the USB accessory and USB host switch that the regular ZMAX had. I badly would love to get otg working on this sucker. Any tips on where to search for the dialer emode codes guys? I found a lot of them inside the dialer apk resource file on my regular ZMAX, but not on the pro.

Plus for you, much respect, and I wish you luck.

Maybe post root... I doubt this-if possible - has slipped by the brainiacs here, after all this time too.

I hope you get something better than my lame answer.

All the codes are completely hidden inside the apks. I don't know how to deobfuscate anything. So I'm screwed. On my old ZMAX I was able to extract the dialer, emode and a select few other apks and just open up the insides with a text editor and it would show the dialer entries to open up certain emode menus and such. It even had a USB switcher that allowed changing from accessory to host mode and back. I'm just stumped at the moment. Maybe I am needing to look at files in a different location since this is marshmallow.

Use this thing called Andromeda OS it.lets u access system. Files

I use Amaze file manager. It works better than Andromeda for the needs I have. I just need to check all the other system locations such as the vendor folder and dev folder and what not.

I googled about this otg feature too. I know you can make otg feature work if you know what you are doing, since otg is supported on the chip. Someone figure it out it's in another language so I translated it. But the one who figure out to work otg in the marshmallow has a warning that you can't use it permanently because it will damage other functions I forgot what exactly.

There is a reason why they disabled the otg feature. obviously it will affect other hardware functions. Sucks though.
