Help Emoticons

On my HTC I had no problem seeing emoticons in text messages.

On my S3 Mini, all I've got is little android emoticons, green, & they are crap.

Is there an app that will show the emoticons the same as what my HTC would.?

I've seen quite a few in playstore, but to insert them they require copy/paste etc, I don't want that hassle, just want to insert them the same as I would have done on my HTC.

Either you can choose to follow this guide (provided you're rooted):

This will basically teach you how to replace the default emoticons with the ones you choose or you can install this app (you will need one other app as this is not a stand alone app. Read the description in the play store)

This will basically change your keyboard entirely and give you new emoticons that are quite close to the HTC ones
