I work in new York city on Saturdays. I have a few cancellations so I took a walk. That is where the Empire State building looks like looking directly up at it from the base on the side. Enjoy this all you non-New York City people!

I've been to the top of the Empire State building at night while on vacation. Being up there put being at the top of the Prudential building in Boston to shame.
So much city!

I know there are countless sources for info about the Empire State building but here's a nice summary,approximately 4 minutes, that covers its history along with graphical representations on little factoids, an example being there are currently 73 elevators in its core.
