Help Empty screens won't delete

jstabe

Newbie
I can't get empty screens on my phone to delete. I've tried the suggestions I could find. Pinching doesn't do anything (phone just tries to move to the next screen) and a long press just brings up a menu asking me to add widgets to the home page. I couldn't find anything in my user manual either. Any suggestions?

Hi jstabe. I might well be wrong but as far as I know there is no eliminating a page or screen. You might consider using a full page widget on an open screen. A calendar or such is nice on a full page. It would annoy me to have a screen that I did not use. I have a calendar taking one and my music player another. I then used the remaining screens to somewhat organize my shortcuts etc. At least with that scheme all of the pages are utilized and don't seem ignorant when scrolling through them.

Perhaps another will chime in with a means to eliminate a page being is that is what you desire. Best of luck in any event.

Take at look at some of the launchers in the play store. Nova and apex will both let you choose how many home screens you wish to have. Others will also, but those are the 2 that i have used and enjoyed.

I'll check these out. Thank you!
