Help Empty System Certificate List

Hi. I'm working with Lenovo A369i running JB 4.2.2. Three days ago it messed up and I decided to factory reset it. It starts up, and when I open the default browser and go to google.com a popup appears saying "Security warning: There are problems with the security certificate for this site." I opened the Settings > Security > Trusted Credentials and found out that the system's trusted credential list is empty. I tried to browse the Play Store and it couldn't connect, probably because certificate issue.

Would please anyone can help me solve the system's empty credential list problem? Looking forward for answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

These problems are generally caused when the wrong date and time are set on your device. When you get the Security Warning you can still proceed if you select the appropriate option,

Thankyou for your answer Pugs1957, but the time and date on the device is correct. It appears to be the certificates themselves are missing
