Enable Auto-rotate upon playing video?

Lurker
I have a fairly easy problem, but I can't figure it out. I would like to turn on the screen rotation when I'm playing a video on the web or looking at the image gallery. I have setup the profile and included the appropriate applications (Gallery, YouTube, Internet, etc.)

My problem is I can't find the app in Tasker called "Streaming Media Player", so that I can enable the rotation. I'm using an HTC One X and when I'm using the browser ("Internet" is the application name") and click on a video to watch, it opens in an app that says "Streaming Media Player" at the top. However, this application is not found in the list of Tasker applications, or in the list of Android apps on the phone. Sure enough, when I click on recent apps, the actual name "Streaming Media Player" is not listed as a recent app, only the "Internet" app.

I have set Tasker to enable auto rotate when running "Internet", and it does. But when I click on a video and it launches this "Streaming Media Player" app, the auto-rotate turns off. I would ideally like the rotation OFF when browsing the web, and only turn ON when a video is playing.

Any ideas here? I see how to put all this together in a profile, I just can't find this particular streaming application to set it all up. HELP!

i have a similar setup. where when YouTube launches, to toggle auto-rotation.

you can set specific app profiles, that when it opens, to enable auto-rotation. instead of trying to do a catch all with "Streaming Media Player".

Thanks for the reply.

I understand about setting application profiles to toggle Auto-Rotate.

My problem is that the application that plays video is called "Streaming Media Player", but that application is not available to set a profile for it in Tasker. Even if I set up a profile for the web browser to auto-rotate, as soon as I click a video to play, it opens up in this "mystery app" call Streaming media player, and the auto-rotate is toggled to off.

In other words, HOW can I set an application profile for an application that doesn't appear in the app list within Tasker?

If I upload video to Facebook, which was filmed in landscape mode, how can I rotate it so it can be viewed normally? I have a Galaxy S3.
