be nice to have for my galaxy s on android

basically a tachometer for rc engines....believe it uses mic to detect RPM


thnx if this app is possible
 
That looks like a pretty sweet app. Unfortunately, I have no clue how to program something like that. :(
 
Should be fairly easy is anyone wants to take a crack at it. Queue the mic and measure the sound. Probably a Java library available to assist in breaking down the audio stream and produce some measurements.
 
Check out an app called torque... It beds a bluetooth obs II(2) dongle... App its amazing there's youtube vids about the app
