Enhanced Messaging Not Avaliable?

I use the enhanced messages of my S7 edge a lot but now I'd like to know how to enable this feature on my sisters Sprint Note 7. I've search for it from the same settings as mine and I cannot find it. Did samsung ditch the enhanced messaging on the note 7?

Seems to be available for VZW. Just not under the heading of "enhanced messages". It is in the messages+ app settings. You enable Typing notification and then you can scroll all the way down on the same screen and tap on advanced to set up further settings. It's not a one and done setting. Is that what you are looking for?

Unfortunately Sprint doesn't over this enhanced messaging in that way, last i checked they were using an app called messaging+.

What is this messaging + Application? The only messaging app I have is Messages, the default from samsung. Can anyone send me maybe a screenshot of how to get to that? I also don't see typing notification toggle.

Message+ is Verizon exclusive. You can load it to other devices, typically requiring a VZW # for "activation" of the service, though.

Hmm alright is that in the play store? I don't seem to see the Message+ app but I do see Verizon Message app. I'll try that.

The Message+ App I'm referring to is in the app store and its by jibe. Sprint use to load it, I'm not sure if they still do.

Can i delete the app after enabling the enhanced features? Or would I have to keep using it after . Would it work with the default messaging app too?

Dumb question time...what is enhanced messaging?

Possibly related question...when I send messages to my fiances iPhone they come very segmented. About every 50 characters or so sends a new message. Last night it broke up one message into 5, and no, I didn't write her a book. This didn't happen with the Note 4, just now with the Note 7.

It basically let's you send full photos or videos or files without them getting down scaled, turn on read receipts, and some other typing features.

Enhanced/Advanced Messaging is based on RCS. It's basically the carrier equalivent to imeassage. Also if the carrier enables it, theres a video option that can be implemented like FaceTime. Before others ask, No it won't work between android and iPhone unless Apple enables RCS in iOS.

Enhanced Messaging is on my Sprint Note 5 and my Dad's Sprint S7 but not my Sprint Note 7. Maybe Sprint just forgot to enable it in the ROM?
