Greetings all,
So in my learning, I wanted to create an application that would (Based on location) give me a list of things to do in the area. What I was wondering is if there are good databases out there that I could tie my application to that would provide things like movie theaters in the area, parks, museums etc... So the user would say they wanted all entertainment in a 20 mile area and it would reach out to the database and provide feedback?
Haven't started reading about the different services that might already offer this because I don't know where to start so any information would be great. I am not sure of the direction I need to be heading as far as this goes.
I am thinking things like Yelp, but I am sure there are many services out there so just trying to get educated on it.
