I had to open up my Epic Galaxy S today to check the antenna lead. Everything went well. Closed the phone back up put in the battery and turned it on. Only now the entire left column of the physical keypad seems to be "linked together" including the up-volume button.
Going down from top to bottom, the left most column of the keypad is as follows: 1, Q, A, Fn, Shift, and then the up-volume button. If I press any of the aforementioned buttons, what I get in the text-box is always: 1qa and also the volume bar appears on the screen. So pressing any of the buttons seems to press every button in the column (including the Fn and Shift key but these can't be seen as characters of course).
Any ideas?
