Epic 4g Touch for only $90

Walmart.com is having a pretty good deal on the Epic 4G Touch for $90. But is now a good time to buy into a sprint wimax phone for the next 2 years? Isn't 4g lte right around the corner?

*edit* Forgot to mention if your opening a new account with sprint Amazonwireless has the epic 4g touch for $50. But in my case if your adding a line to a family plan $90 was the cheapest I could get (amazonwireless price shoots up to $120).

4G LTE is around the corner for SOME. the first 4 markets are Dallas, San Antonio, Houston and Austin. From there it will branch out nationwide. At least thats what i read a while back.
Your safe for at least 2 more years for WiMax, aka Clear 4G.
Even with out the 4G service the device is still great. I only use my 4G when i am updating large files. Otherwise i rarely use it.

That's what I keep hearing, owners of the Epic 4G Touch are mesmerized. I just hope WiMax in my area is good enough to hold me over.

today anyway, amazonwireless has new lines including add a line on family plans for $0.01
Pretty sure it was higher a few days ago.

Thanks for the heads up. Walmart refused to price-match amazon's price so I have returned the phone and will be buying through amazon. FYI, Walmart (Let's Talk) "activates" your phone as soon as you place the order. This means your Sprint service started on that day, not the day you actually received delivery of the phone and activate it through sprint! I placed my order on March 2nd at night. Phone was "activated" March 3rd, Phone Shipped March 5th at 11pm, Phone was delivered March 8th. Therefore, when I first got my hands on the phone, I was already 6 days into my 14day satisfaction guarantee. Nonsense.
