Help Epic password screen flaw allows full access while on a calll

Please help!!! Even though I have a password on my Samsung 4g phone, If a call is answered, then the phone allows full access to all my data. Is there an app that I can installed that will stop this from happening?

I want to keep my phone, but not if there isn't anyway to solve this issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the help...
I keep a password on my phone. However, No matter which of three security features I use, they all can still be bypassed by just accepting an incoming call. Even if its password locked, an incoming call bypasses the security feature. During an incoming call all data, texts, and pictures, etc are accessable. This is even if the phone was previously locked.

For me, the Pattern unlock would allow the bypass, but both the pin and password locked the phone after a call.

What do you have your screen timeout set at by chance?

If you are concerned about your data falling into the wrong hands, I would suggest the app SeekDroid. It allows for remote lock and data wipe (not sure if it will do a SD Card wipe though).

Thanks for the help..
I have my screen set to 10 minutes. I don't want to allow access to anything during a call unless a code or something is entered. I don't mind if I have to enter an unlock code before answering a call.

My main purpose is while I sleep:
I don't want someone to be able to grab my phone, use this by pass while on a call, access my info. I keep my phone close to me while i'm awake. My only concern is while I'm sleeping. If I only had an app that would either prevent the answering of calls without unlocking it OR prevent acess to my info while on a call unless a password is entered. Both would work.

I have heard that there are other types of phones that come.ftom the factory with similat types of features. Features that deny access to data while on a call unless a password is entered.

Thanks...

If your phone is only vulnerable when you are sleeping, I guess a quick and easy way would be to turn your phone on airplane mode before you go to sleep... I don't know if you are concerned about missing calls, emails, texts, etc when you are sleeping, but that would at least give a little piece of mind for now.

Otherwise, you could get an app like Seal... It allows you to lock any app down. I haven't played around with it a ton, but I can take a look at it a little more closely when I get the chance.

Also, unless the call is answered, if you select a lower screen timeout, the phone should go into a locked state if the call is rejected (say 15 seconds). At least if the phone is answered, you have a record of the number calling...
